I would like to introduce you to Kate Fraser, she is a beautiful woman, a mother of three and a wife to Brent. Kate has been diagnosed with terminal Stage Four Breast Cancer. There is a group of mother’s who have come together and created “Ending Cancer for Kate” to help raise funds to support Kate and her family in this very difficult time. One month of medicine, which is not covered by OHIP, is $10.000.00! My dear friend Leslie Sutton’s children have gone to pre-school with Kate’s children, and is one of the mom’s who is helping raise funds for Kate and her family. When she asked me to take photos of Kate and her family, there wasn’t even a second thought. No one should ever have to go through this! No woman should ever have to feel this pain, no husband should ever have to lose his wife, no children should ever have to be without their mother! Cancer is such a horrible thing for anyone! I am sure we all know someone who has been effected by this horrific disease, and as a community we need to come together to support those who have to deal with it day in and out.
Kate has such a beautiful smile that just radiates through the camera! She brought so much joy to so many children as a figure skater for Disney on Ice! I mean I think she had the best job ever! Who doesn’t want to be a princess 🙂 Through her whole session, she kept smiling that beautiful smile, and I can’t imagine she was feeling well at all! But I am honoured to have captured these memories for Kate and her family!
