It was our first time photographing a wedding as a Mississauga Convention Centre Wedding Photographer for Melissa and Raffaele’s wedding. They had a beautiful ceremony in the courtyard of the Mississauga Convention Centre. Their ceremony had many unique touches, including the flower girl delivering a special note to the groom before the bride walked down the isle. A very touching moment. They also wrote special notes to each other and placed them in a box to open and read in the future.
It was a beautiful day weather wise, which was nice since we have had a few weddings this year with rain or really cold. After the beautiful ceremony at the Mississauga Convention Centre we headed over to Kariya park. We love taking photographs at this location, even though it has been many years since we have been there. It is a beautiful park smack-dab in the middle of Mississauga.
There is so much love between this couple that you can see and feel in the way they look at each other. They had an amazing support of great people in their wedding party. Truly a lovely group of people to work with.
We also had an opportunity in the evening to get some awesome sunset and night photos. The courtyard where the ceremony took place was all lit up with beautiful lights. A great spot for some intimate photos. Some venues have great night light that make for a beautiful backdrop. The Mississauga Convention Centre does not have a lot of that opportunity, but a single light can be just as wonderful!
