Nestled in Burlington, Ontario, my home studio draws clients from across the Greater Toronto Area, creating a welcoming space for capturing the precious moments of your newborn's early days. For your convenience, I furnish everything essential for a secure and delightful newborn photography session - wraps, clothes, props, backdrops, headbands, and hats. Additionally, my client closet is at your disposal, offering a selection of outfits for both moms and daughters during the family segment of your Toronto newborn session if you opt for it.
Your Toronto newborn photographer experience typically unfolds within the initial 14 days after birth in the comfort of my Burlington, Ontario, home studio. To ensure a seamless session, a comprehensive client preparation guide will be provided beforehand, guiding you through the preparations for your newborn photography session.

Sessions are tentatively booked based on your due date, and a signed agreement and retainer. Once the baby has arrived, we will choose a mutually convenient date. If the baby is already here, we will book a date as soon as possible.

If you are doing family photos, they will be completed at the beginning of the Toronto newborn photography session. Then you get to sit back and relax, maybe get in a little snooze, while I photograph your baby on their own.
We would have already discussed the colours and props you prefer.
Everything will be ready to go at the Greater Toronto newborn photography session so things flow smoothly. Depending on the type of session you choose will determine how long the Greater Toronto newborn photography session will be.
Your online proof gallery will be sent within 2-3 weeks after your session date. I will provide you all the instructions on how to choose your newborn photos.
At that time, you can choose if you wish to purchase digital photos, prints, albums, wall art, etc. I can help you decide which photos would be displayed the best.

Amanda was the baby whisper... at first Amanda tried to walk me through doing pictures at home so she can edit them for me due to Covid, but defiantly I struggled with it. Phase 2 opened and Amanda was able to get us in as soon as possible and was able to do newborn pictures for us. She was so professional and amazing. Truly talented and so much patience.

Amanda at Gibson Photography is an absolute pleasure to work with. She is creative, organized, so so kind, professional, and very talented. We have had engagement, first look, wedding, boudoir, maternity, newborn and mother’s day photos taken with her and she does not disappoint! Her style is elegant and simple but has a creative edge and we love the focus on nature she always incorporates into her shots. She has wonderful visions and loves new ideas from the families she works with from colours to props to settings. I’ve always been jealous that we have not yet been able to do a mini session with her yet but that hopefully won’t last long. Some of the biggest things we appreciate about Amanda is how comfortable she makes you feel when directing you in the shoots. She helps you pose and stand well to get the most out of the shot and has worked with our large families and kept them in line! She has also worked with our dog and got his attention easily with tips and tricks up her sleeve. Particularly with the boudoir shots…I don’t thing there anyone more capable than Amanda of making you feel so relaxed and comfortable while taking very beautiful, tasteful but vulnerable photos of you.

For more than 12 years, Gibson Photography's Home Studio has been situated in the heart of Burlington, Ontario. Upon entering the Motherhood studio, you will be embraced by a warm and inviting atmosphere. Just a few steps in, you will find the dedicated newborn, maternity, and cake smash photography area where the magic happens.
To enhance your experience, there is a separate room provided for your relaxation when you are not in front of the camera. Kick back, savour a cup of coffee, indulge in some snacks, and catch up on your favourite TV shows or social media. It is your personal retreat within the Greater Toronto Area studio space.
Parents often take advantage of this cozy corner to take a well-deserved nap. With the photographing area just steps away from where your newborn is being captured, there is a sense of ease and comfort that permeates the entire studio. The goal is to create an environment where you not only get beautiful photographs but also feel completely at home and at ease throughout the entire session.
