We are so lucky to be an Ancaster Mill Wedding Photographer. We photograph many weddings at the Ancaster Mill which often include the ceremony taking place at their outdoor location, like at Konstanza and Duncan’s wedding.
Mike’s brother, Bryan, was the executive chef at the Ancaster Mill for 17 years, and has now moved over to Whistle Bear Golf Club in Cambridge. We love photographing weddings at all of the affliated restaurants, Ancaster Mill, Spencer’s At the Waterfront, Cambridge Mill and one day hopefully Whistle Bear. The food is amazing, and the venues are so beautiful! A great place for just your reception or for the ceremony and reception.
It was a beautiful day for David and Jen’s wedding, a hot one, but beautiful nonetheless, especially as I am writing this and it is getting quite a bit cooler. We started the day off with the Bride getting ready at the very new and beautifully decorated, Homewood Suites in Hamilton Ontario. We didn’t have enough time to use all of this hotel’s great spots to photograph in, but the getting ready photos done in the brides suite are some of my favourites, but that’s a no-brainer when you have such a stunning bride like Jen!
From there we went to the ceremony location at Canadian Martyrs Church, just down the street from the hotel! Having close locations to each other is great for your guests so they don’t get lost!
There was no need to go and find another location for photos, as the Ancaster Mill has such an amazing backdrop for wedding photos! A favourite for everyone is the waterfall of course! We had such a fun time at David and Jen’s wedding! We also were able to get out and get some gorgeous night photos on the covered bridge and in front of the Ancaster Mill in the roundabout area. It is all light up so pretty at night! Just like at Spencer’s At the Waterfront.
Here is a list of some great vendors who contributed to David and Jen’s wedding.
