Wheelbarrow Orchards

Founded in 2014.  Whellbarrow Orchards has market that carries fresh and preserved items from Ontario Farms.  Some items are: honey, maple syrup, Saurkraut, granola, tortilla chips, and herbs.  The Farm is open for picking and buying in September.  Kids 12 and under are free and adults are $8.00 each.  No appointments are necessary and there is no admission fees to shop at the Farm Market.  There is access to the Sunflower walk, Corn Walk, rest spots and picture areas.

Applevale Orchards

A family-owned farm began its journey with a 50-acre fruit and vegetable venture in Mississauga. Today, the primary cultivation hub is situated in Burlington. Initially, the farm specialized in cultivating apples and pears for wholesale distribution at the Ontario Food Terminal. In addition to wholesale endeavors, the Burlington site now houses a retail store and offers U-Pick opportunities.

 

Products are sold by volume and available in multiple bad sizes or the bushel.  There is a minimum $40 orchard bag purchase per family.  Prices range from $10 – $65.  Also available for purchase is Apple Cider and Honey.

Established in 1940 Andrews Farm is 165 acres of pick your own fruits and flowers.  The farm has grown to include a winery, playground animal area and farmstore.  Strawberries, blueberries, rasperberries, daliahs, pumpkins and squash are available at the farm!  The winery has 25 award winning fruit wines.

 

 

Season passes are available.  Baskets are available for purchase for $1.00.  Remember Andrews Farm is bagless!  Don’t forget to bring your own!   Kids 5 and younger are free.  Ages 6 to 64 are $15 + HST each.  Seiors are $7.50+HST.

 

 

Andrews Apple Picking Milton Farm offers a year-round experience with an array of activities to enjoy, including walking trails, wagon rides, a playground, an animal corral, a straw mountain climb, a corn maze, and fantastic photo opportunities.

In 1983, what began as a barren cornfield was transformed into a flourishing fruit orchard spanning 26 acres, all thanks to the dedicated efforts of Sandra and Eldon Williams. Their hard work bore fruit, quite literally, as they nurtured and cultivated more than 1500 apple, pear, and plum trees. Today, the orchard thrives under their stewardship, with the valuable assistance of their children and grandchildren.
