Another lovely family I had the pleasure of photographing for this Beach Maternity Photography session. There are not too many summer days that we get in Ontario that are warm enough to photograph in the water at the beach. So when I am contacted by an expectant mom and she wants to do a sunset Beach Maternity Photography session, I say oh yes, absolutely!!
Doing this families session in the “golden hour” was pretty much the perfect time of day for them seeing as they are so fair! It was quite a windy day, but we pushed through and got some wonderful photos. I was so happy to use my new Olivia Rose full length tulle skirt for this session. I mean it was just perfect! The delicate soft flowly material accented Kim’s baby bump perfectly!
I love that Kim was game to get into the water…I mean why have a maternity session on the beach if we do not get some photos in the water of course 😉 It still amazes me though, that no matter how hot it is during the day, Lake Ontario is still pretty cold. I did a Beach Session in Florida and there definitely is a difference in the water temperature.
These two little cuties are going to be the best big brother and sister around! They are so super sweet, and I have to say I completely have a soft spot for Cooper’s hair! I mean come on!!! I wish there were more Gingers! I wonder what colour babies hair is going to be?
