Most of the event’s that Gibson Photography photographs are Weddings, however I was contacted to do this St. Gabriel’s Burlington Baptism for Jaxon. I have photographed Baptisms before before but this was my first one at St. Gabriel’s Burlington Baptism.
When I am hired to photograph a Baptism, no mater what religion it is, I always find out what the church would like me to do. Some churches do not want you to photograph while the mass is going on. However, you can take photos during the actual Baptism. Some Churches have no stipulations at all. Another Baptism I photographed only had the one Baptism going on at that time. Whereas the St. Gabriel’s Burlington Baptism had several Baptisms proceeding at the same time. Therefore I only photographed while Jaxon was having his Baptism.
St. Gabriel’s is a beautiful bright Church. It was so nice to be able to photograph this St. Gabriel’s Burlington Baptism. Jaxon has an older brother and sister who are all so sweet!
A typical apparel worn by a child when they are Baptized is a white garment. Sometimes boys and girls will wear a white very long dress. For this St. Gabriel’s Burlington Baptism Jaxon wore a white suit! It was so adorable! I do not know where Jaxon’s Baptismal outfit came from.
