Since we have updated our website, and soon our blog, we decided to add a testimonials section. I was thrilled when Renee said she would write us a testimonial for the website. Then when I received it I was beyond touched by the kind words she had to say about us. It is clients like Renee, Paul and Amelia who make my job the best job in the world to have.
"I first met Amanda at a baby show in 2012 when I was pregnant with my first child. I wasn't planning to get any professional newborn photos taken, but I quickly fell in love with the beautiful little angels depicted in her photographs, so I stopped a moment at her booth to take a longer look. Amanda and Michael were both there that day and they seemed very friendly and easy going. I also liked that they were a family business and had a baby of their own, so I took a business card with me. As my due date approached, I convinced my husband that we just HAD to have some newborn photos taken! It was such a special time and I did not want to miss capturing it forever. Unfortunately, I had to have an emergency c-section and things did not go very smoothly, but our baby girl arrived and she was healthy and perfect. We were very happy but also very tired! Amanda was so accommodating and worked with us to find a good time to come into her home studio. When we got there, I quickly felt at ease because Amanda knew exactly what she was doing. There was some white noise going on in the background and the room was heated to keep baby comfortable. I didn't realize how long a newborn session could take, but throughout the whole thing, Amanda was very patient and handled my baby with gentle, expert hands. We were so happy with the photos and bought the entire DVD. A few months later, we were back for a Valentine's Day mini-session. This was super fun to do and I just looooved all of the cute little outfits and backgrounds! And just last month, we came again for our daughter's 1st birthday cake smash session. By this point, visiting Amanda is like visiting an old friend and we have a lot of fun. And of course the photos are wonderful!
