Just one more post of these Cherry Blossom Family Photography sessions….for now anyway 😉 Another key factor when photographing Cherry Blossom Family Photography Sessions, is amazing weather!!! I couldn’t have asked for nicer weather. It was warm, and the sunsets were stellar! The sweet golden hour is a photographers dream!
There was quite a few Cherry Blossom Family Photography sessions squeezed into the short period of time that the blooms where in full blossom. I am very lucky to get to meet so many sweet families. It wasn’t just Family Photography Sessions, there were maternity sessions and children’s photography sessions as well! The gorgeous backdrop lends itself to any type of photography. When people hear or think of Cherry Blossoms the tend to think pretty and delicate and girly! And I whole heartily agree that they are pretty and delicate, I also absolutely think that it is a great background for boys too!
I don’t like to use many props in these sessions. Less is more! I just don’t want to take away from the beauty of the background. This year it seems like the blooms are going to blossom much earlier then last year. I hope that is a sign that we are going to have an amazing Spring and Summer. I love nothing more then photographing outside! However, nature likes to take a bite out of me, lol. I get numerous mosquito bites and a few bee stings. I think I have a tracker in me for pests to find me no matter where I am. Last year I was visiting a location, and as I was driving home, I took a sip of my coffee and was stung on my tongue…seriously!! But I will pretty much do whatever I can, of course within reason, to get that amazing photograph!
