Being a busy Newborn Photographer in Burlington ON, sometimes doesn’t afford the time to play around and learn new things. However, I was fortunate enough to get to do a mini workshop learning how to do this “potato sack pose” with the amazingly talented Sandra Hill of Sandra Hill Photography – Newborn and Baby Portraiture.
Sometimes its just nice to get to explore what we do as newborn photographers and to learn how other newborn photographers go about capturing these special newborn photos for our wonderful clients! I love learning new techniques and meeting other newborn photographers, talking about our own experiences and seeing what everyone comes up with by taking the same subject, but with 10 different points of view! We came from all over Ontario to spend this time to learn something new, and can not thank Sandra enough for giving us her time to teach us and answer our questions! Oh and of course we also got to buy some new props…a newborn photographers weakness! I also love that by doing these newborn workshops it often allows parents who may not be able to afford newborn photos the opportunity to help out newborn photographers and also get precious memories of this very short newborn stage.
Newborn photography is a beautiful art, something that I truly love to do! It has been quite a while since I blogged one of my newborn sessions, and I will get caught up on them in the New Year. For now you can see some of our older newborn photo sessions, and also a couple photos from this awesome workshop as well!
I am a Newborn Photographer in Burlington ON, but I have clients who travel from all over Ontario to my home studio to allow me into their lives to capture these precious memories.
If you are interested in booking a newborn session, I’d love to hear from you!
