I was so happy when Danielle wanted to do a Beach Maternity Session! I just love sunset on the beach! And Danielle is absolutely radiant which made it even easier and more beautiful! We were actually quite surprised how busy the beach was for a weekday evening. However, I completely understand why, it was a beautiful night, a gorgeous sunset, you just couldn’t beat the scenery.
Danielle and Jay brought their dog, Winston, along for some family photos. Winston was so good for his photos. He is a Cocker Spaniel, and I have a soft spot for spaniels, as we have two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. They are such a great bread with children! I know Winston is going to love the baby when she arrives! I just adore the silhouette photo of Winston and Danielle!
This Sunset Beach Maternity Session has to be my favourite one to date! The colour of the sunset was just perfect! I also had a few new dresses I got to use from Postbox Boutique. The red one, which Danielle described as “Game of Thrones” ish, which I agree. It is very goddess like, and Danielle can definitely pull off that look!, and I borrowed the coral one, which I think looks awesome on the beach, for the Beach Maternity Session.
I actually don’t think I have done a sunset Beach Maternity Session yet, just a sunrise beach maternity session in Burlington, Ontario. It was fun, I got to use some lighting techniques that I don’t usually use for portrait sessions, usually just weddings. So it gave it a different look!
