One of our favourite venues to photograph is at the Ancaster Mill Wedding Photography. We do quite a few weddings at the Ancaster Mill a year, and actually Amy and JJ’s wedding was the first of three, almost in a row, we squeezed one in at a different location the following day 😉
I have had the pleasure of photographing Amy and JJ’s family for the past couple of years for Christmas, and was super excited and honoured when they asked me to capture their wedding! We started the day off with JJ and the guys at their house. It was a VERY hot day and the guys were all very hot! When I arrived they were all hanging out in the front yard.
After some fun photos with the guys, I headed over to meet the ladies at the Sheraton Hamilton, where they had a gorgeous huge suite, which they needed for all the bridesmaids, moms, flower girl, etc. Amy’s dress was gorgeous! And Amy…breathtaking. Someone said she looked like Belle from Beauty and the Beast, and I couldn’t agree more! So many details from Amy’s wedding were just perfect! I love the hangers she had for her dress, as well as all the bridesmaids and the Flowergirl. And the shoes…I wish I could walk in shoes like that! The flowers throughout the whole wedding we amazing! All of the flowers were done by Pocket of Posies Floral Design. Her makeup was done by Unveil Your Beauty by Rachel Rema.
Ancaster Mill Wedding Photography is like second nature to us. We know all the great spots to get your photos! But for Amy and JJ’s wedding we were super excited to be getting to photograph the Ancaster Mill’s new chapel! It is absolutely stunning! Again the flowers just added to the beautiful decor. Amy and JJ also did a sand ceremony where the two of them and their two children, Jaden and Alexa all had different coloured sand and poured it to show they family coming together in marriage.
It was a beautiful day, and I loved that all the bridesmaids had different styles for their dresses. The blush colour I just adore!! And how super cute are the kids!?! I just loved Alexa’s dress too!!! Such a beautiful princess just like mommy!

Amy had so many details for her wedding, and made them all herself. Including the lovely signing board! The cake was also so beautiful by Gimme Some Sugar!
