So it’s catch up time again! I can’t believe I never blogged this Cherry Blossom Maternity Session! So as we all know, Cherry Blossoms are so finicky, and once they bloom, there is literally a very limited time to get photos with them! And when I showed up to photograph this gorgeous momma and her baby bump, I was a little disappointed with the lack of blooms that were left, in the pink blooms, which is what mom was hoping for. However, we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect sunset!!! The colour of the sky, the pink blooms, moms gorgeous dress….GAH!!! All perfection! These photos are some of my favourite maternity photos.
There is something to say about the marriage between the fresh new spring blooms and a beautiful baby bump! I love maternity sessions. There is only so many times we get to experience this amazing feeling of growing a life inside you, and I encourage every pregnant lady to get maternity photos! My son came a month early, I was scheduled to have maternity photos with him that weekend, and I always regret that I don’t have photos of me with him. Luckily, my own mother took a quick cell phone pictures a few days before, because she just couldn’t believe how big I was, and I am very thankful to have it! I was fortunate enough to capture almost monthly photos when I was pregnant with my daughter. You know the first one, you have a lot more time 😉 I know I will cherish them forever and so will my daughter.
So enough about me, lol! Shaima and her family were such a delight to photograph, and we got some pretty amazing photos for their family to enjoy forever!
