I am a GTA newborn photographer located in Burlington, Ontario, however, I have client’s that come from all over the GTA. This family came from Oakville, Ontario!
I first met Claire’s parents back in November for their maternity session outside at a local park. It was all decorated for Christmas. Claire arrived after Christmas, so it’s going to be a much different holiday for mom and dad next year!
I love getting to know the families that I photograph, and while Mom, dad and I were talking, it was revealed that dad is actually a lawyer at a law firm in Toronto that I used to work at before I started working full time in my photography business. What a small world! We did not work there at the same time, but it was always one of the firms I liked working for the most.
What can I say about sweet Claire, oh she was so good to me! She allowed me to try a few posses that I had recently learned how to do at a workshop, that being the Potato Sack Pose. I love continuing education and actually just did two other workshops since learning this pose. I also was able to use some new props that I had recently purchased. I finally got up my real barn board backdrop that I had purchased in the summer, and I just LOVE the way it turned out! The Mint Green colour looks so pretty against the natural wood colour! It also helped that mom loved the mint colours too! Claire even managed to give me a few smiles, which are always much appreciated. Newborn photography is one of the styles of photography that I love the most! I am so lucky to get to do what I do everyday! And playing with newborns is a pretty awesome job to have!
