I met up with Gill and Laura for their Same Sex Engagement Session down at Spencer Smith Park in Burlington, Ontario. Let me tell you…it was a cold one!!! But these ladies braved the very cold, very windy waterfront to get some great photos!
Gill and Laura are getting married at The Ancaster Mill in the fall, and I think we are all hoping for a little warmer less windy type of day! It took a bit of planning to mesh up our schedules, mostly with Laura as she puts her life on the line to Serve and Protect us as a Toronto Police Officer, Gill and my schedules are definitely not as complicated 😉
As we walked around Spencer Smith Park for Gill and Laura’s Same Sex Engagement Session, we chatted about how their planning was going, both ladies had recently purchased their dresses, separately of course, with the help of their friend who owns a bridal salon, how handy is that? I am looking forward to seeing what they choose on the wedding day! They were also talking about their combined shower, and how things are coming together. The wedding day will be here before we know it! The Ancaster Mill is such a gorgeous venue to have a wedding. I just know it is going to be great!!
The wind proved to be a very annoying factor for both of these ladies, as they both have super long hair! However, I definitely don’t feel that the windy hair takes away from the photos, actually I feel just the opposite, I think it adds more of an intimate real emotional feel. Then again, it might just be that these ladies are in love and it definitely shows through in the photos.
Gill and Laura enjoy your photos and I can’t wait to celebrate your love in September!
