Sibling Portrait Session Burlington Ontario Photographer

As you may recall, I did Noah’s Cake Smash Session a couple weeks before I did this Sibling Portrait Session Burlington Ontario Photographer.  Noah’s Cake Smash Session was an awesome anchor or nautical theme, and we carried on with the nautical theme by doing this Sibling Portrait Session at the beach!  However, things didn’t go as well as the cake smash had went.  These three boys did NOT want to have their photos taken.

I have to say this was probably my most challenging portrait session to date.  These boys were very busy, and very independent boys.  It wasn’t hard to get photos of them individually, but of course trying to get all of them together, looking and not crying, was just too much of a struggle.  I was able to get two of them together unfortunately not all three.  I ended up having to do a composite photo to get the three of them into a photo together, which was mom’s major request, as she was wanting these photos done to surprise dad for his birthday.

A composite photo is created by combining several images into one to get the outcome you wish.  Composite photos is not something I do very often, as it is extremely time consuming and needs to be just right to look natural.  Composite is often used in newborn photos for safety reasons.

I think this mom deserves to have a vacation a month!  She definitely has her hands full with three boys very close in age.  I have had the pleasure of photographing this family over the years, and am honoured when I get the email letting me know that they will be arranging a photography session.  It’s always an honour to me when my clients keep coming back.
